Every day is a New Adventure at our Cherry Hill Summer Camp!
Our Cherry Hill Montessori Summer Camp offers an exciting range of activities – swimming and sports, arts and crafts, learning and exploration, dances and other unique experiences – all delivered in the Montessori style and centered around a different Theme each week. Our camp welcomes children ages 3 – 7 and offers individual activities that are developmentally appropriate. Our 2016 Cherry Hill Summer Camp begins on June 27 and ends on August 26th. It runs for 9 weeks and you may choose the full 9-week schedule or a schedule of 4 to 8 weeks. You may also opt for a 3, 4, or 5 day a week full-day-schedule or a morning or afternoon only schedule. Choose what works for you…our goal is to make your life easier while your child has fun!

The Cherry Hill Montessori “Swim Confidently” Program
Our unique “Swim Confidently” Program is a highlight of our Summer Camp. We designed our heated pool so that your child can be relaxed and confident while gaining important skills that are physically and developmentally appropriate. Daily swims and weekly group swim lessons are included. Private optional swim lessons with our certified staff members are scheduled on a first-come first-serve basis.
Special Visitors and Enrichment
We typically have several special visitors each summer to coincide with our Weekly Themes. One of our annual visitors is Mr. “J” who visits the school on Science Day. A retired Cherry Hill Science teacher, Mr. “J” engages your children with his exciting and fun science experiments that teach many concepts, including gravity, static electricity, force, and mass. A magician will also visit this summer and we will go on a special field trip to the Camden Aquarium.
Sports and Outdoor Play and Events
Our campers spend as much time as possible outside, either in our pool, on one of our three play areas, or in our special Peace Garden. Daily outdoor play is complemented by sports activities organized and taught by our experienced staff members, and by specially-trained instructors from our bi-weekly Kickin’ Flips classes.
Weekly Themes and Other Activities
Our weekly themes this summer include an Escape to the Hawaiian Islands, Cherry HIll Montessori Olympics Week, Down on the Farm and Jersey Boardwalk Favorites, among others. We complement these Themes with arts and crafts projects, cooking activities, dance parties and many other exciting adventures to help your child learn about the subjects in a fun and engaging manner.
Montessori Classroom Activities
Cherry Hill Montessori’s Summer Camp also includes regular Montessori learning activities. Those children who attend our School Year Program will continue their classroom activities throughout the summer. New campers will be able to experience the traditional Montessori materials in a developmentally appropriate way, based upon the child’s readiness and skills, and the time available for “work” activities.
“My children absolutely loved going to camp at CHM. There were so many different fun activities, and art projects for the kids to do. All of the staff was wonderful and warm. The swim instructors were amazing! They turned my fearful swimmers into confident swimmers.” Heather R.
“My children LOVED your summer camp. They learned to swim there and had fun every day. They loved the weekly themes and were able to continue learning through their Montessori activities. Thank you, Tina, and the entire staff of CHM.” Steve D.
“Sending both my children to CHM Summer Camp really brought my two boys together! They grew as individuals and as a family. There are so many activities that keep the kids busy at Camp! From swimming to crafting to working through the weekly themes, my boys would come home excited to share what happened that day!” Kathleen F.
